How do I use the Supplements?

You should follow the recommended dosages and talk to your dog's health care provider. You can also mix the supplement with some of these foods: plain yogurt, kefir, bone broth, goat milk, warm coconut oil or even water. What does “intermittent or supplemental feeding” mean?

This means the supplement is intended to support the body naturally, not act as a drug. In holistic and integrative veterinary care, it’s common to: • Use daily for 4–6 weeks • Take a short break, or continue only as needed This approach helps avoid unnecessary over-supplementation of bioactive ingredients while supporting joint and connective tissue health.

Are there hormones or antibiotics in the Eggshell Membrane?

No. CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) regulations prohibit hormones in Canadian poultry. Antibiotics may be used to treat sick chickens before entering the human food chain, but not preventatively. Our eggshell membrane is sourced from Canadian eggs and undergoes microbiology testing.

How is your eggshell membrane different?

Our eggshell membrane is human-grade and sourced from Canadian eggs, which are regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) under some of the strictest poultry health and food-safety standards in the world. In Canada, growth hormones are banned in poultry, antibiotic use is tightly controlled, and producers must meet rigorous traceability requirements. Unlike the U.S., Canada does not allow chlorine or chemical antimicrobial washes in poultry processing, relying instead on farm-level health and clean processing practices.

Does Eggshell Membrane contain collagen?

Yes, Eggshell Membrane contains collagen which can help your dogs to maintain strong, healthy joints.

Where do you source your Eggshell Membrane from?

Our Eggshell Membrane is made from 100% Canadian hydrolyzed Eggshell Membrane.

Why don't all your products have scoops? 

We are making a conscious effort with our packaging to reduce waste and scoops are a small way that we can do this. Some of our products are mandated by Health Canada to include a scoop and you will find one inside your jar, these are bamboo spoons which are ultimately compostable. We know that many or all of you, pet parents, will have a measuring spoon inside your home that can be used and reused in our collective effort to be just a little better to our planet.

My dog takes multiple supplements, do I need to feed them all in one meal?

No. If your dog eats multiple meals a day and you would prefer to distribute the supplements throughout the day, you can do this.

Can this supplement be broken up between meals?

Yes, if you would prefer to break up the daily recommended dose you can do this. The daily recommended dose is the total for daily feeding, but this does not dictate that it has to be fed in one sitting.

Is Eggshell Membrane coming back to the US?

Why are some products not available in the US?

US import regulations restrict certain animal-derived products. Specifically: Seal Oil cannot be imported into the US (Marine Mammal Protection Act)

Eggshell Membrane and Probiotic+ have faced recent US customs challenges
