Spirulina is one of the oldest and most nutrient-rich foods on earth and is sometimes referred to as the original superfood. 100% bioavailable. Blue-green micro-algae is known for its robust nutrient profile and wide range of health benefits.

Packed with chlorophyll, anti-oxidants, and the essential fatty acid GLA. Spirulina may help support joint health, skin and coat, digestion, detoxification, increased energy, and more.

Grown in the United States in a controlled growing environment. Spirulina is freeze-dried after a careful growing and harvesting process which ensures that spirulina cells do not collapse. This means no nutrients are lost and it becomes highly bioavailable. Spirulina is packed with healthy phytonutrients and antioxidants. Also, it is a great source of chlorophyll.

Research shows, spirulina may support an enhanced immune response and gut health in dogs. Read this "Supplementation of Diets With Spirulina Influences Immune and Gut Function in Dogs"

Spirulina may also help in removing heavy metals. See this and this.

What is Chlorophyll?

Dr. Kathleen Wynne writes "Chlorophyll (the green in greens) is the molecule that absorbs sunlight and uses its energy to synthesize carbohydrates from CO2 and water (photosynthesis). Chlorophyll is an internal antiseptic, a cell stimulator, red blood builder and rejuvenator. It relieves respiratory conditions; is nourishes the blood and is beneficial for heart conditions. Chlorophyll is a powerful detoxifier and tonic. It cleanses the blood and builds red blood cells while doing it."

What is Spirulina?
