North Hound Life is a fast-growing Canadian pet wellness brand, and we’re looking for an assistant to help us scale! If you love dogs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in e-commerce, marketing, and operations—this role is for you.

• Assist in developing and executing company growth strategies, including marketing, sales, and operations.
• Provide hands-on support across marketing, customer service, and influencer collaborations.
• Assist in daily operations, including inventory, vendor relations, and fulfillment.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and team management as the company grows.
• Create reports, presentations, and insights for strategy sessions.
• Research new product opportunities, monitor industry trends and competitor activity to drive business growth.
• Manage key projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
• Problem-solve and address challenges proactively.
• Represent the brand at meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with e-commerce, retail, and logistics in the pet industry.
• 2+ years of experience in operations, e-commerce, marketing, or business administration.
• Proven experience as an assistant, coordinator, or project manager in a growing business.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism when handling business matters.
• Willingness to attend pet expos, trade shows, and industry events when needed.
• Ability to think strategically, problem-solve proactively, and adapt to challenges.
• Proficiency in business management tools (Slack, Google Suite, Shopify, Gorgias).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and vendor interactions.
• Passion for dogs—knowledge of pet health, natural dog products, and trends is a plus!

Bonus Skills

• Experience in social media management and content creation for pet brands.
• Knowledge of pet health, nutrition, or training.
• Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or subscription-based pet businesses.
