Scratching dog with allergies - Bee Pollen

We know organic bee pollen contains quercitin, which is a natural anti-histamine so it helps relieve the itching, licking of paws, and sneezing dogs suffer with their seasonal allergies.  Using a natural, healthy product is a good choice for your dog to be happy. This is because some dogs don't respond to antihistamines like Benedryl and Claritin. And, the long-term use of corticosteroids to help alleviate the symptoms is harmful to your dog's liver and immune system.  Also, for financial reasons, Atopic and Apoquel are pricey.

Besides getting the benefits of allergy relief, your dog can also benefit from this superfood by helping increase their resistance to disease and cancer.  And, if your dog is an athlete, pet parents say it helps improve their strength and stamina and other pet parents give it to their dogs as an all-purpose supplement. What exactly is bee pollen? Bee pollen is a mixture of flower pollen, nectar, enzymes, honey, wax and bee secretions. As bees collect nectar, bees also gather pollen, this high-protein super food, which is carried back to their hive while they pollinate other plants on the way.

It is well know for its proteins, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, and other nutrients. Approximately half of its protein is made up of free-form amino acids, which require no digestion. Bee pollen has over 250 active substance. And, it is unusually high in the bioflavonoid rutin, which strengthens capillaries, protects against free radical damage and has anti-inflammatory effects.
