Rooted in wellness. Guided by science. Inspired by dogs.
North Hound Life is a natural dog supplement brand that produces premium whole-food nutritional supplements for pet parents seeking to support their dogs’ long-term health and well-being.
Based in Muskoka, Ontario, we’re a Canadian, woman-owned and operated business serving pet parents in Canada and the United States. Our approach brings together thoughtful ingredients, science-guided choices, and a love for the dogs who share our lives.
The Story Behind North Hound Life
Founder Grazyna Szawlowski’s interest in natural wellness began long before North Hound Life. Her grandfather was a veterinarian, and her mother owned a health food store. Growing up, she learned to value nutrition and proactive care.
After building an organic dog treat business and spending years in the natural health space, Grazyna saw an opportunity: pet parents had more premium food choices, but fewer whole-food supplement options that felt simple and understandable.
She pursued further education through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies (CIVT) and created North Hound Life to bring her passion for natural nutrition to everyday canine wellness.
Today, Grazyna leads a small team in Muskoka with the same purpose: helping pet parents make thoughtful choices for the dogs they love.
Whole-Food Nutrition, Thoughtfully Chosen
We believe every ingredient should have a clear purpose. Our supplements feature whole-food ingredients, including Canadian goat milk and New Zealand green-lipped mussels, selected with dogs’ nutritional needs in mind.
Our range offers options for supporting digestion, joint health, skin and coat, and everyday wellness. We want you to understand what you’re giving your dog and why you’re choosing it.
Rooted in Wellness. Guided by Science.
Natural wellness and a thoughtful approach to science guide how we think about nutrition. We value clear ingredient information and practical guidance that helps you make informed decisions.
Our focus is supporting your dog’s long-term well-being through nutritional supplementation.
Dogs Are Family
Dogs are part of our families, and their care matters deeply to us. That belief shapes our attention to ingredients, our hands-on approach, and the way we support our customers.
As a small business, we take care with the details. Our products are hand-checked, and our team is here to help you feel more confident about your choices.
